PIA Ambassador Responsibilities, Criteria & Recognition

We ask all Ambassadors to attend your local Chapter Meetings and statewide events whenever possible and engage new and prospective members.

  • Proudly wear your PIA Ambassador Pin to PIA and industry functions.
  • Provide a welcome kit or Ambassador card to prospects (PIA will provide you with pocket-sized copies of cards, which will include a snapshot of benefits and QR code the prospective member can use to find more information.)

Actively recruit new members and fortify retention of 1st year members in PIA of Louisiana by initiating personal outreach in the following ways:

  • Inviting prospective and existing members to events
  • Answering questions about membership
  • Making personal phone calls
  • Emailing/forwarding information you think the agent would find beneficial
  • If you have an existing relationship with a non-member agent, start by inviting them to a Chapter Event and also keep PIA State Office involved, so we may assist with follow up.

Participate in new member outreach during PIA’s Annual Convention and serve on the Convention Welcome Committee
